Ugh, love. Gotta love it. One of the best ways to celebrate love – romantic, platonic, whatever you’re into- is to spend time with your favorite person and make something together. That’s where we come in! In this special Valentine’s Day fused glass workshop, you and your partner will design and create your own gorgeous little flower pot. No watering necessary.
We use Bullseye COE 90 fusible glass, stringers, and frit to create this downright beautiful work of art — think daisies, violets, orchids, poppies! Maybe even flowers that doesn’t exist yet. It’s up to you guys.
We lay out the basics for you – we’ll have petal and leaf stencils, examples, oh and the most important thing! You’ll be learning the techniques of fused glass. Workshop participants learn how to cut, grind, and paint your pieces to create the most perfect bouquet. We’ll be doing a type of glass working called cold working, meaning we create them without heat. The firing and the melting is up to us- we’ll fire your pieces after you leave. Your bouquet will be ready for pick up within a week so that you both can assemble it together at home.
All of the materials are included. You’ll be getting a decorative pot, floral foam, and rocks in your take home box.
This workshop is super unique, fun, and can be something simple or in-depth- it can go either way! Your very experienced instructors will guide you along, helping you create & design.
We have the glass, Agave’s got dinner!
